I know it's been a while. Had a nostalgic couple of days—ten to be exact—lately and it's left me all over the place. Safe to say my life has turned around quite a lot since you last heard from me. However, still hoping this will be a constant thing. Better to be back than never.

These are just some of the items that I absolutely adore from the new release of Zara AW 14.  I love the evident influence of upscale brands that show in this new collection. It allows a larger audience to obtain a similar concept that most top-line labels produce but at a more reasonable price.

I talked my way out of excuses to finally update. Mostly because my blog turns 1 today, and also because the sporadic posts are just unforgivable. I purchased this subtle tartan vest slash coat along with the black version of the Zara skort at a thrift store the other day. Thanks to the person who decided to sell their skort, I snagged it at less than half of what it originally is. Isn't it weird how I've had the white version for months but posted an outfit with the black one first? In other news, I'm still getting used to my hair which by the way is a lot more blonde in person.
